Unexpected passing of Darryll J. Thomas

On November 4th 2021 our lives were forever changed when we lost a husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother, & friend Darryl J. Thomas. If you had the opportunity to know Darryll it was quickly apparent that Deja & our mom Sacha were his highest priority & all he did in life was to make sure they never needed anything or went without. He was THE best father to Deja, THE best bonus dad to my 2 siblings & I, the best & only Hoppa D to his 3 g-babies & the love of our mom’s life, his mom Lela’s pride & joy, & a great brother & friend. He was always there for anyone who called whether it be a simple question, a favor, or his favorite; a chance to get together for a drink or two! He is loved by so many & Darryll was not only a pillar in our family but as we already knew while he was here with us & are finding out in his passing he was also a pillar in many other people’s lives. There was not a stranger he encountered & not a life he didn’t touch in one way or another. He was a source of joy, laughter, & all around positive energy that will never be able to be replaced. His passing was not only unexpected but sudden & on behalf of my mother Sacha Thomas we created this go fund me to provide a way for friends & family who have inquired about how they can help the family to donate monetarily towards the funeral of Darryll. All of the proceeds will go to funeral, medical, & any other expenses that may arise.
