Visitation will take place an hour prior, and will continue until 2pm following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family at Why support is graciously needed: On 1/31 Day after Kathy’s birthday she came home at lunch to find her husband & Max’s Daddy passed away of natural causes. Crazy as it sounds Kathy was in a car accident on her way home to check on him. This was all very sudden and overwhelming for her and 11 year old son Max. JR was only 47 years old. He was working again after having a few surgery set backs but very much on his way to recovery. He was a wonderful father and husband and he will be missed tremendously by his family. Max is 11 years old and the impact of losing his Dad so sudden is heartbreaking, shocking and indescribable . Kathy is a working mom and will be doing both the Mother and Father role for Max. She will be doing no matter what it takes to keep things as normal as possible. Unfortunately being so young JR did not have any life insurance and these end of life expenses are very sudden and keeping life going with some normalcy can be very hard & stressful. We love these two more than words can say and we would love her family , friends, coworkers and even non acquaintances to help in making this just a slight bit easier on her and Max during this most difficult time. Kathy doesn’t ever ask for help and makes due with what she has. The arrangements for JR have not been set on how they will honor his goodbye. These days and days following are the hardest. Kathy and Max have a wonderful family and so many friends that will help them emotionally get through this for years to come but expenses happen and we need to do anything we can to help keep things normal and less stressful for her and Max during this time ahead. Please assist us in collecting some funds for them to use for whatever they need . They lost a provider and loving human . Max will be missing his Daddy and Kathy her best friend & partner of over 20 years. Please give what you can to make things just a little easier during this sad and sensitive time. Announcements for services will be available soon as those details are worked out. Kathy loves deep and I know didnt ask for this fund but will be so ever grateful . Thank you in advance for your generosity. ❤️ RIP JR HOBBS .. Hope you are cooking up some delicious meals and looking down upon your family with the unconditional love you have always shown. We love you! ❤️
