Unexpected passing (covid-19)
Donation protected
my name is nikaila and this beautiful, loving, and strong woman is my mom. Her name is Sharon Elaine McFeeters and I miss her sooo much already.
She fell ill and tested positive for covid-19. unfortunately a few days later she was found passed away in her house.
So unexpected and a complete shock. My mom was completely healthy with no underlying conditions.
The reason for this go fund me is I don't have the funds to give my mom the respect, dignity and care that she deserves. She was always so giving to everyone around her (financially, emotionally, or spiritually) so despite our tiffs id like to make sure she's honored properly
No pity party just some facts in case your wondering:
No death benefits through insurance or work.
I'm a mom of 4 children (2 are special needs) so I'm living cheque to cheque. (no savings)
I'm going to look into receiving any CPP funeral benifits- don't know how long that takes or if mom's circumstances qualify to receive it.
1 family member said not to worry I'll help, however I'm trying to avoid placing the whole expense on 1 or 2 family members as I know my mom had so many wonderful family and friends that I know would donate for this beautiful person (Sharon Elaine McFeeters)
The last reason I'm asking is - its extremely important to me to have a piece of my mom that I can hold close to my heart. Hoping for cremation necklace.
I'd like to see my aunty get 1 too as I know it would mean something to my mom and my aunt is really grieving. (They have been trying to have a closer sisters relationship for as long as I can remember. My aunt came to kmloops to see my mom and my mom passed away a few days later. (total fate, divine intervention) if u ask me.
My plan is: have mom cremated then possibly a gathering of close friends and family to spread her ashes and say a few words.
Thank u to anyone that can spare any amount to help a daughter with her moms final arrangements. Your support and generosity means a lot.
