Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for support during an incredibly unexpected and overwhelming time. I was recently hospitalized after severe swelling and dangerously high blood pressure. My numbers were in the 180s, and I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia. Doctors told me I came in just in time because the condition had already started affecting my organs and could have become life-threatening.

I was immediately taken out of work and monitored closely. Soon after, I began developing fluid in my lungs, and the doctors made the urgent decision to deliver my baby early to prevent heart and/or liver failure. My baby was born at 30 week. It all happened so fast, and while I’m grateful that both the baby and I are safe, the sudden medical crisis has left me unable to work and facing expenses I simply can’t manage on my own.

I’m trying to raise $5,000 to help cover medical bills, monthly bills like rent and utilities, and basic necessities such as food while I recover and care for my newborn. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to us during this difficult time.

I am also cautious about posting a photo of myself and the baby, as I do not want my biological mother seeing and/or knowing. I am currently 30 years old, and I do not speak with my biological mother as she plays an extremely stressful part in my life, and I am trying to stay healthy.
