Hello everyone! On March 10th we lost one of the most kind, hilarious, aggressively big hearted, and overall most amazing people to grace this planet- Trevor Parizer. He passed away leaving two pups behind, and so many friends that miss him every day. Annie, originally his parent's black lab, and Pearl- the love of his life and his furry best friend for the last half a decade. He cared deeply for his doggies, and it showed in the many stories he recounted about them (for instance, their regular visits to go look at the pond where the quack-daddies live, chasing squirrels, meeting chickens). His friends Matt and Karianne have taken on the care and continuation of love for these dogs, both of whom are not only facing heartbreak at the loss of their favorite human but several health issues as well.
In an unexpected turn of events, Pearl has faced a sudden auto-immune reaction and is fighting off a critical level of lost platelets. Annie has faced a variety of age-related issues as well as a new diagnosis that has caused much heart ache.
Between the two of them they have found themselves in quite the pickle. Their new humans, who have opened their hearts and homes, are struggling to juggle both the medical bills and this new adventure in economic experimentation America has plunged into (is that a good way to explain it??).
I want to assure you, their bills will be paid, and already have been. In no instance does your not donating today take away from their care. They are cared for, they are loved, and their bills are paid. If you can donate, THANK YOU. Thank you for keeping us afloat, thank you for giving us room to breathe. If you can't, IT'S OKAY. Pearl and Annie love you regardless, and we love you regardless.
Currently we have the goal amount set to the total amount that has thus far been paid for their medical bills only. We are not including their daily needs like food and medicines. This effort is focused only on the unexpected costs of recent medical events in the past 3 weeks.
Thank you for considering donating to their care.
