Support Lainey's Battle with Lymphoma

Hey everyone! We are finally getting around to making this fundraiser for Lainey and family. This update was one that mom and dad both posted and will be a starting point. Updates will come as mom and dad see fit, and as they are comfortable with sharing. Anything donated with be used to help with bills, food (Lainey is eating like 2 grown men a day), gas and help support both families as we have had to and will have to continue to miss work on certain days.

The last 3 weeks have been rough, a bit of a glimpse back to when she was born. Lainey was finally diagnosed with Unclassified high grade B cell Lymphoma. Tuesday she started her first round of chemo, which she’s handled better than expected. If any of you remember when she was born, her (original) heart complexity was basically unheard of. Her cancer is proving no less prolific. When her Oncologist called to tell us what the biopsy found he said, “This shouldn’t surprise you, but she’s done it again!”. He explained that we won’t find anything if we Google it because her cancer covers the ground of a few types. It is somewhere between: Non-Hodgkin’s, PTLD, and Burkitt Lymphoma. Basically she is proving to continue to be a medical anomaly. Her day right now consists of regular naps, constant parent time (which she loves), constant eating because of the steroids, and tormenting the nurses and doctors with no remorse.
