Hi, My name is Jessica and I'm trying to raise some funds for a wonderful coworker and her family who just went through a tragic loss. Gretchen and I have worked very closely together for the past year or so and she and her family are more than deserving of some help.

In late February, Tim (father to Gretchen and husband to Anissa) went to the doctor for weight loss and inappetence. Shortly there afterwards, he was rushed to the ER due to fever, pain, and declining health. In the ER, it was discovered that he had fluid buildup in his lungs and abdomen. There, he stayed in the hospital for a few weeks undergoing multiple procedures, tests, and bloodwork to try and diagnose the cause of the fluid buildup and previous symptoms. After 2 weeks in the hospital, they received the heartbreaking diagnosis of at least 5 different types of cancer throughout his body. After a discussion with an oncologist, it was decided/determined that he didn't have much more time. Tim wanted to be at home with his family when he passed, so that's exactly what his family did. He was taken home to live his last 3 days in his home surrounded by his family.

This family has been left with not only grief but some very unexpected medical bills as well as the cost of a funeral in a very short timeframe. Anything that could be donated would greatly help Gretchen and her family out in this time of need.
