Unexpected Loss of Marsha Payne

Marsha Payne passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2020 in a Michigan rehabilitation center; where she was recovering from respiratory complications. She was only 64 years old.

Marsha was always a mother first, risking her life for one of her children by deferring cancer treatments during one of her pregnancies. Even during the hardest of periods, she made the time to take her family on vacations to show her children what life could be like if they worked hard. She was truly an inspiration to them. Marsha loved books; working as a librarian for 25 years, she was able to share her love of reading with many. She was a Purdue basketball fanatic and she loved Korean TV shows. She always appreciated the little things in life. Ultimately, Marsha loved the ocean and wished to one day retire in California.  

Marsha’s final resting place is in Frankfort, Indiana with her parents.
