Unexpected Loss of Dad & Husband - Wayne Stefurak

Saturday morning (June 11th), our longtime dear friend Wayne Stefurak passed suddenly and unexpectedly. Wayne was a dedicated, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.

Wayne was married to his beloved wife Mary Beth (“Lovey”) and has three adult children that he cherished - Jack, Patrick and Margo (“the twins”). Wayne worked hard to support his family by commuting to both New York City and as far away as Chicago for 30+ years. He was an avid golfer and skier, a jack of all trades around the house, a huge sports fan (Yankees and Giants) and enjoyed watching college games where his kids attended. Most of all, he was everyone’s friend, a quick-witted conversationalist, always inclusive and wanted you to have a good time.

The Stefuraks have always been heavily involved in their community, whether greeting at church, coaching and rooting on their kids (and their respective teams) at sporting events, volunteering and spending time with those needing a friend or less fortunate, as well as their effortless ability to entertain both friends and family on a regular basis – the consummate hosts.

As a community, we seek to lessen the family's burden during these tough times. While Jack is a recent college graduate who has embarked on his career, Patrick and Margo are rising college juniors. We are trying to raise funds for Mary Beth and their children to help defer the twins’ continuing education costs and any other costs that are incurred to cover funeral expenses or wherever needed. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide at this very difficult time and ask you to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
