On March 7, 2026, our family unexpectedly lost a beloved father, son, and friend at only 46 years old. Born on June 12, 1979, his passing has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Corey Schmidt was a wonderful father to his four children: Morganne, Aubriana, Aydan, and Lilly. His children meant the world to him, and he was always so proud of each of them. He had a big heart, especially when it came to his kids and his animals.

He was loved deeply by many—his friends, family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved spending time fishing and going to the cabin, where he enjoyed the simple moments in life surrounded by the people and things he cared about most.

Because his passing was so sudden and unexpected, our family is now facing the difficult task of covering funeral expenses while grieving this tremendous loss. We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time.
