Hi, my name is Tanisha, and I’m a single mom to three amazing boys.

The day before New Year’s Eve, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job. Like so many families right now, we were already giving everything we had just to stay afloat — and losing my income so suddenly has put us in a scary position.

I’m actively applying for new work and doing everything I can to get back on my feet as quickly as possible. What I’m asking for help with is one month of rent and basic bills so I can keep a roof over my boys’ heads while I secure my next job.

I’ve always worked hard to provide for my kids, and asking for help doesn’t come easily. But right now, a little support would mean stability, breathing room, and peace of mind during an unexpected transition.
