Need Money for Funeral Services

Update- Unfortunately our beautiful Kim passed away this morning, so now we are needing to redirect all donations for funeral expenses. If you could help out by donating any amount the family would greatly appreciate it. And please share. We need to raise $3500.00 by September 29 for the funeral deposit.

We're reaching out to you in a time of great difficulty. Our mother, Kimberly, was just made aware 3 weeks ago that she needs to have open heart surgery coming Tuesday in Cape Girardeau. It is with great difficulty for us to reach out and ask for assistance with expenses related to the surgery, transportation, rehabilitation, and bills while she is recovering.

A Little About Kimberly

My mother has worked all of her life, sometimes multiple jobs but most people know her from working at Mr. C's Bar, then she worked a number of years at Ralph's Supermarket and currently was working at Patterson Market, until health issues made her unable to continue to work. She has raised her four children, which most of you know us as well, in addition to her many grandchildren. My mother is a wonderful woman, a great friend to many, and always makes you laugh. She is not one to ask for help, but unfortunately there are not many options for assistance out there.

The Surgery

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG )

Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The surgery will take approximately 5-6 hours. She will be hospitalized for approximately a week. However, this is all dependent on how she responds to the operation. My mother has multiple other health concerns in conjunction with the heart disease.

The Recovery

The doctors expect a full recovery but have also stated that she will be out of work for 3 months post surgery. She's been out of work since June and things are tight. We are aware that she will need physical therapy but are still working out the details for all post surgery requirements.
