My name is Gary , and I’m raising funds because I recently became the victim of a major debit-card scam that drained thousands of dollars from my bank account. I travel often for work and use my credit and debit cards regularly, which unfortunately made me a target. While the fraudulent activity began when I was in Texas, the transactions traced back to Fort Lauderdale. I’m currently working with the police, who have filed a report and are investigating the person responsible, but the financial impact on my life is immediate and overwhelming.

This scam has left me unable to cover my essential living expenses my home, bills, car payments, and the everyday costs that all of us rely on our paychecks to manage. Until the bank completes its investigation and determines whether any funds can be recovered, I’m facing a very difficult and uncertain period.

I’m creating this GoFundMe not only to ask for support during the toughest moment of my life, but also to spread awareness about scams and fraud, which are becoming increasingly common especially here in Florida. I hope my story encourages others to stay cautious and protect themselves.
