we're going to do our best to skip over the ashamed-to-be-asking-in-such-harsh-times part and jump right into the humbly-asking-for-help part! little bro needs help with his teeth! and if you're lucky enough to know Belka personally, you know he needs those teeth for biting you.

after undergoing a big expensive move and staring down the barrel of other major life expenses like getting permanent residency, our savings are depleted and our credit cards are maxxed. an extra expense like this has come at a very bad time, and we can’t handle it by ourselves.

sweet evil baby Belka’s underbite has gone from “funny snaggleteeth” to “serious health issue” practically overnight, affecting his ability to eat, drink, and enjoy his little life. our vet has given us a ballpark quote of $ 2400 - 3700 CAD for his treatment and an urgent turnaround time. while we hope it’ll be on the low end of that, we’re trying to be prepared for the high end and any extra expenses, so the goal has been set at $ 4000. if we raise more than we need, the extra funds will go back into mutual aid.
