My name is Dana, I do not like to ask for help, I’m generally pretty independent, but I think I need help with this situation. My car broke down about a month ago, I was able to make a deal with the dealership where they generously gave me 2 months to come up with $1800 as a down payment for the car I am driving now. I have only collected $400 so far. I have one month left to collect $1400, if I do not have this in one month I will not have a car anymore.

I do work, I’m a nurse at a nursing home out of town. I am a single mother and do not receive any assistance otherwise. My son has special needs and we have out of town doctors appointments often. I need to be available for his school if they need me to come up there. I absolutely NEED to have a car, but unfortunately this goal seems unreachable.
