Hi everyone, my name is Kassandra,

I never imagined I’d be asking for help like this, but my brother Dustin is struggling after the sudden loss of his beloved pet and best friend, Hershey.

Hershey was by Dustin’s side through everything — the ups, the downs, and all the in-between. He helped him get through some of the hardest moments of his life and into the happy, loving family and life he has today. Dustin is not someone who ever asks for help, which is why I’m reaching out on his behalf.

Making the decision to say goodbye was the hardest thing he has ever done, but was necessary to prevent any further suffering for sweet Hershey.

Unfortunately, the cost of euthanasia and cremation came to $802, and despite trying financing options, was denied and we don’t have the means to cover it right now.

The emotional weight of his loss, combined with the financial stress, has been overwhelming to say the least and I am trying to lighten that burden - but I don’t have much myself as I know we all don’t right now. Times are hard.

His body is still in the clinic awaiting our ability to take him home forever. Please help as time may be limited.
