Unexpected emergency and loss of income

Hello everyone. I know most of you all have come to know my sister and her husband. Recently, Eddie experienced a medical emergency that has left him out of commission for at least 2 months. During these 2 months there won't be a paycheck nor will he have any source of income coming in.

The infection that was found in Eddie's right foot was so big that he needed to have some of his foot cut out, the wounds are big and very sensitive. Since he is diabetic and the wounds (2 of them) are a good size, he does need lots of medication, has pending doctor visits and is needing home health. Without income, these are virtually going to be impossible. The little income that Eddie is going to be getting will be taken as he has to pay for his insurance to be able to keep getting medical care and benefits. With Eddie needing so much medical right now and there not being any money, they need help. Not to mention Alma also needs a good amount of medication monthly.

If you know my sister and her family, you know they are givers and they are the ones that are always willing to help without question. I have seen them support soccer players, family members and have even seen my sister spend her last dollars on her students. They need us now. Alma is so uncomfortable with this gesture, she says it's very hard to be on this side of the fence but since she needs help, I figured this would be a quick way to get them help. They have always been very generous, I've seen it.

I know they are struggling right now with trying to figure out how they are going to get all the medical care they need. Worrying about medical bills and how they are going to pay regular bills and buy groceries shouldn't add on to their list. Anything you can help with would be so appreciated. I know they would be so grateful.
