Tragic Death of Devoted Husband, Father, and Son

It is with great sadness that the Espinal family lost their devoted husband/father/son Omar, on Labor Day weekend (8/31/19).  He tragically drowned after his canoe overturned on the Feather River. Omar was a devoted husband, father, son, and follower of Jesus. He was committed faithfully to loving and serving his wife Marlia, and his two small children.  With funds raised through this page the Espinal family will honor Omar's memory, help transport his family from Honduras to the US, and compensate Marlia with the sudden loss of income. Thank you for your love, prayer, and financial support.

"Thank you all so much.  Words cannot express my gratitude.  The response to this fund, and all of your messages remembering Omar and encouraging me and the kids … it’s been overwhelming and such an incredible demonstration of the Lord’s love for us and for Omar.  We have started dreaming and thinking of ways to honor Omar and his life and his passions, please consider the following: In lieu of flowers and other gifts, you may continue to give to this fund, anything beyond the immediate travel needs, funds will be dedicated towards a scholarship for young students looking to go into the electrical field."
