On the eve of the new year December 31st at 6:44 AM, my dad, Jacek Luczko lost his life due to an unexpected heart attack while at work.

Jacek, or how many probably know him Jack, was genuinely the strongest and greatest person in my life. He knew how to make someone feel better just by being around them. He seemed to have this aura of happiness, because he was just such an optimistic dad, husband, son, brother, friend, and coworker. After his passing, so many people contacted my family with condolences from many different facets of life. My family really appreciates everyone who reaches out, because with each person who reaches out another story can be told of how he made their day brighter. He treated everyone like family and this can really be seen when you have people from all over mourning for him. My dad had a rough time when he first immigrated to America, but he worked very hard and made it through. He had worked all types of jobs and his family had their own struggles. He knows just how hard it can be for some people, because he was in their shoes. Anytime he would go out, he would give everyone a big tip, and he would tell me "When I was in their spot and someone gave me a tip, I would be so happy I would run home and tell my mom". He genuinely was put here on this earth to make everyone happy and he really achieved that with not just his family, but with all of his interactions everyday. He treated everyone with respect and love, even strangers, and the people who are reading this probably know it, because when I say everyone I really mean it.

Jack leaves behind his wife, daughter, and son. We are grateful for any support you may be able to provide through your generosity. I strongly urge you to share stories about Jack as it really makes us happy to hear about how he made your day better.
