Unexpected Death of Husband and Father of 5

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Michael Escobedo aka "Big Mike" at only 48 years old.
Michael leaves behind his loving wife Katrina and 5 handsome sons, Michael Jr, Diego, Fabian, Deangelo, and Gianni. As you can imagine Katrina and the children are devastated by the loss of their amazing husband and father.
Michael was a very special person with a heart the size of his beloved state of Texas. He would light up any room he entered with his warm smile, kind words, and the way he treated everyone he met. And let's not forget about those hugs...it has been stated by many that he gave the best hugs in the history of hugs. He loved and cared deeply for everyone around him whether it was his family, friends, or co-workers and he never held back in showing his feelings for us all. Family was the utmost importance to him, they were his motivation for how he conducted business and carried himself at all times.
Michael's wife Katrina now faces the task of being the sole caregiver for their 5 boys after many years of being a stay at home mother. The Escobedo family is need of any and all support we can give during this time of grieving and carving out a new way of life without their Dad. This loss of their husband and father now creates a huge financial burden as Michael took pride in being the sole provider for his family.
During this time they will need help with funeral expenses, daily living expenses, mortgage, utilities, and all of the other necessities that come with raising 5 children. The funds will help out tremendously, while they try to work out the intricate details of day to day life without Big Mike.
This loss is deeply personal, which makes us realize that there is no one that can ever make us feel the way he did....as though we were in the presence of greatness.
