Unexpected Death of Beloved Wife & Mother

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Luann Karry of South Riding, VA, only 46 years old, on July 14th, 2020. Luann, originally from Coalport, PA, was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to those that knew her. She leaves behind a devastated and grieving family consisting of her devoted husband Alec, two sons, Ryan & Garret, 5 stepchildren, mother and sister, all of whom are shocked and struggling to cope with Luann's unexpected passing. While I never personally met Luann, as a friend and colleague of Alec's I heard stories and could see firsthand just how happy she made him. It is also very apparent from all the messages of support to the family on Facebook how many lives Luann touched in her far too short time with us. Even in death she is still able to touch and help others as many will benefit from a second chance because she was an organ donor.
In addition to the obvious unbearable emotional pain, stress, and agony that her passing brings to her family, it also creates substantial financial hardship. With that in mind, we are trying to raise money for the family to help mitigate these unexpected expenses and the additional stress that comes with them during an already trying time. Any donation, regardless of size, will be greatly appreciated in order to help Luann's amazing family ease the financial burden during this extraordinarily difficult time and as they navigate life without Luann going forward. Comments of support on the GoFundMe page below will also be greatly appreciated. Nathan (Alec's friend and colleague) is acting as the GoFundMe organizer and interim beneficiary on behalf of Alec and the family and will provide all funds raised directly to Alec to help their family.
