Letting Go with Gratitude until We Meet Again
Through tears of grief and heartbreaking sorrow we reluctantly release Andrew our son, our grandson, our older brother, our younger brother, our uncle, our nephew, our cousin, our friend, our neighbor, and our humble helper, back to the Creator… until we meet again.
Our hearts are filled with deep gratitude for his presence on our journey together for the past 30 years.

Andrew will be remembered as a devoted, generous, humble and kind soul who deeply loved his family, friends and dogs. Andrew was an advocate for the underdog, had an infectious smile, beautiful blue eyes, and an unrivaled passion for math, chess, and music. Andrew took every opportunity to insert puns and probabilities into everyday conversations. For over a decade, Andrew bravely battled mental illness with multiple diagnoses, hospitalizations and several averted attempts to end his life, while finishing his AA degree, passing the first 4 actuarial exams, tutoring math (statistics and calculus), working as a barista and cashier, helping with his family, especially with his elderly grand-parents. Andrew ultimately succumbed to his mental illness on January 29, 2021. His gentle and sweet spirit touched us all; we will forever be changed by his impactful influence.

As we release him with gratitude and saddened hearts, may Andrew our son, our grandson, our older brother, our younger brother, our uncle, our nephew, our cousin, our friend, our neighbor, and our humble helper, may he rest in peace, free from pain and debilitating mental illness, surrounded by ministering angels, surrounded by departed loved ones and surrounded by the enveloping love and grace of our heavenly Father…until we meet again.
