On Thursday August 20th, Ebony Rodgers, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, wife and friend, unexpectedly passed away as a result of Coronavirus.
To those who knew my mother, you knew that she was a loving, kindhearted and dedicated person. She lit up any room she walked into with her beautiful warm smile. My mother loved and cared deeply for everyone whom came into her life. Most importantly, she loved her family, we were her greatest joys.
As you can imagine, as a family we are devastated by her passing. She was the glue that held our family together. As many people knew, my mother has been on disability for the past four years. Due to her disabilities, she was unqualified for life insurance. This loss of my mother now creates a huge financial burden for my family.
