Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help, but I’m truly at a loss and need to lean on the generosity of others. I’ve been unemployed since April 2024, and despite applying to over 200 jobs, I’ve been unable to find stable work. While my partner does have an income, it’s not enough to cover our monthly expenses. My unemployment ended in October, and together, we’ve worked through all our savings and done everything we can to stay afloat. But now, we’re facing a situation that’s beyond our means.
We’re behind on bills, and January’s rent is quickly approaching. On top of that, we just found out our car—something we rely on every day—needs nearly $3,600 in maintenance. The stress of trying to make ends meet has been overwhelming, and while we’re doing everything in our power, it’s just not enough.
Here’s where your kindness will help:
• Rent: Making January’s rent is my top priority.
• Food and Essentials: Ensuring we have groceries and basic necessities covered while we work to regain stability.
• Car Repairs: These repairs are critical to keeping us mobile and able to take on new opportunities.
• Overdue Bills: We need to catch up on electricity (to avoid shutoff), past due bills, and other monthly essential.
Here’s How You Can Help:
• Make a Contribution: Every dollar helps, whether it’s $5, $50, or more. Your support will go directly toward rent, food, car repairs, and overdue bills.
• Share This Campaign: If you’re unable to give, sharing this with your friends, family, or network can make a huge difference.
• Offer Job Leads: If you know of any job opportunities, I’d love to connect. You can find my LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jennarae.
• Hire Me for Consulting Services: If you’re a small business looking for help with marketing, operations, or branding, I offer custom services through my business, Biz-Blossom Consulting: https://biz-blossom.com.
• Pay a Bill Directly: If you’d prefer to help by paying a bill directly, please message me, and I can provide more details.
I’m doing everything I can to turn things around. I’m applying for state and local resources, working a temp job, and continuing to apply for every opportunity I find. I’m committed to putting in the effort every single day to regain stability, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t do it alone.
If you’re able to help—whether it’s contributing $5, $50, or simply sharing this with others—it would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps and brings us one step closer to making it through this difficult time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your kindness, generosity, and support—no matter how big or small—make an incredible difference, and I promise to pay it forward as soon as I’m able.
With humble gratitude,
Jenna
