Family and friends have come together to support my sister, Candace, through extreme tragedy. Recently, her 8 year old daughter, Adelena, has lost her father. This loss has an entire family grief ridden. While attempting to process the magnitude of this loss, the family must prepare for a cross-country trip for Adelena and Candace to have their final goodbye with Adelena's daddy. Not only are they inundated with last minute airfare costs, they must rent a car, pay for lodging, gas, food, as well as an extremely costly return to California as Adelena has requested sentimental items of her father's to be returned to her home in California. The price to have Adelena's room, furniture and Daddy's sentiments returned from Minnesota is monumental. The family will also be missing work and going unpaid as they are traveling.
