Unexpected Accident-Assistance for Khayrshi

Hey Family!

We all love Khy. She is a light to so many, never hesitating to give anyone in need an encouraging word, a helping hand, or to join in on a great time.

She is a treasured friend, sister, auntie, and mentor to all of us from Oakland to LA to Texas. She is a GIVER, and now she needs our help.

Our dear friend Kharyshi Wiginton had a challenging 2022.

First, she was diagnosed with lipolymphedema: lipedema & lymphedema.

In December, she fell and broke her ankle while on vacation in Columbia; this caused not only physical but also emotional trauma.

She had a triple ankle fracture, dislocation, and a tear in all her ligaments. Once at the hospital, they put the bone back into the socket and got her ready to head back to the US for surgery.

Upon returning to the States, she endured two surgeries, one on December 23rd and the other on January 5th. After her last surgery, she spent five days in the hospital and another THREE WEEKS in a rehab center.

She hasn’t been able to walk since the accident on December 15th and is expected to be immobile for at least another month.

Being an independent free spirit and unparalleled dancer performer, being unable to move has taken a toll on her spirit. She needs our love, support, and encouragement. As you can imagine, this accident has also led to many unexpected expenses. Our friend needs some help.

She has about $6000 in uncovered medical expenses, and we would love to help alleviate that burden as her loving community.
