My husband Vitico (Victor) a few days ago started having moments where his tongue was getting tangled when he spoke, he decided to go to the doctor when his symptoms got worse. On January 23 he went to the doctors with a bad headache and high blood pressure. The doctor examined him with a few questions and noticing he couldn’t respond correctly sent him to the ER for an MRI, when we received the results our worst nightmare began. We were told that my husband had a tumor and that he needed surgery immediately.
We were admitted to the hospital and were told that he needed to be prepared for surgery and it would take place on Tuesday January 28, his symptoms were getting worse and on Monday evening January 27 he stood up from bed and fainted, followed by him being paralyzed on his right side and repeating his head was hurting and started having a seizure....
He was having a brain hemorrhage.
The doctors thought of operating at that moment and later decided to operate as planned the next morning, only now to be a more complicated surgery.
At the end of the surgery the doctor came and spoke to me and let me know that he was able to remove the majority of the tumor and all from the brain hemorrhage, and now we wait to see how he responds... this is what we are living at this moment. Not knowing if he will be able to speak again, see, taste, move his body, have balance and we don’t know how his memory was affected. It was possible that he wouldn’t remember me but thank god while he is still not moving in bed and not speaking, I know that when he hears my voice he reacts in a special way and I have all the faith that we will get through this and I will have my partner full of vitality....
Vitico is full of life, he has the best humor in telling stories that make every moment special, he makes everyone around him smile, he is the best friend who is always there to help.
My husband is my support system, his passion is cycling and for that he became a bicycle mechanic, he is recognized in that world as VITICO QUALITY, at this moment everything has froze in our lives and we need your help to move forward, this path will take a long time and will be very difficult my friends and with your help it can be a little easier to handle. You could help us with the expenses for the ER, the hospital, surgery and all the therapy he needs to get better.
If you can not help with money I ask for you to open your heart and share our story so more people can help and pray for his full recovery. As a human
I wish I had more answers but all I can do is have faith in god. Thank you for joining team VITICO, I know that together we can get through this.
