Support the Wehdah Family After Tragedy.

On Feb. 16, 2025, 44-year-old Correction Officer Michael Wehdah was found in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, with multiple gunshots to his chest and stomach.

Mr. Wehdah was a beloved family man and friend to many. He was from Liberia, West Africa, and has been a U.S. citizen since 2022. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Wehdah, his sons Michael (18) and Mickel (4), and two other dependents: Amelia Wendah (21, studying in India) and Nancy Eatain (14) of Liberia.

The Wehdah family wants to raise $13,000 for funeral expenses, and $7,000 to help the family recover from the loss of Michael’s income for several months.
