Hi, my name is Ana and I'm raising funds for the non-profit Row for an Education.

In 2019, Oxfam’s report “The Power of Education to Fight Inequality” uncovered a stark educational divide based on family income worldwide. A child from a low-income family is seven times less likely to complete secondary school in developing countries. Even in affluent nations, only three-quarters of children from disadvantaged families finish secondary education compared to 90 percent from wealthier backgrounds.

Row for an Education is focused on breaching that gap, giving kids from underpriviledged families the support they need to succeed just as any other child. We provide help with their studying, so that they don't fall out of school and have access to higher education, and at the same time give them the opportunity to practice the sport of rowing which fosters a strong sense of team work and achievement
