On Saturday, Nov. 6th, 2021, UNC Charlotte (The University of North Carolina at Charlotte) is hosting its annual homecoming football game. UNC Charlotte is hosting several homecoming events between Friday Nov. 5th - Sunday Nov. 7th. The MALIK South Regional Leadership Team is committed to bringing 8-10 undergraduate MALIK members to the homecoming. With the help of the Shabazz Ha Kingdom (Charlotte’s Graduate Chapter), our team wants to continue promoting MALIK to the Charlotte community. We are committed to establishing an undergraduate chapter at UNC Charlotte. In fact, UNC Charlotte is the fraternity’s # 1 priority for undergraduate expansion. The National Executive Council and the MALIK South Leadership Team firmly believe establishing a chapter at UNC Charlotte will pave the way for MALIK to spread throughout the Carolinas and the South region. The goal of this GoFundMe fundraiser is to raise $5,000 to cover estimated food, travel and lodging expenses. With your financial assistance, we will have the opportunity to showcase undergraduate MALIKs to UNC Charlotte. Please see below for estimate the breakdown:

 

Budget

AirB&B: $1,200 - 10 persons

Flights: $2,180 - 10 persons

Uber: $720 - $240 a day (3 days)

Food: $900 - $30 per person a day

 

Total - $5,000

 

In an effort to secure travel and lodging accommodations in a timely fashion, this fundraiser will be live for one week, ending 11:59pm ET Monday September 28th. Please make your donations as soon as possible.
