Hello,
We are UNC-Wilmington's Club Baseball team.
We have recently won the National Club Baseball Associations (NCBA) South East regional title and earned a spot in the 2015 World Series in Pittsburg, Kansas.
We are doing everything we can to raise money for our trip and need YOUR HELP!
3 years ago we played 5 games as a new club. Our organization has grown in this short time to a winning record of 23-2 and a regional title. We are currently ranked #3 in the NCBA national rankings, with a good chance to bring home the title. Along with our #3 ranking in NCBA, we received the #1 seed for the World Series.
We have overcome many obstacles this year including initial funding issues, and the loss of our practice field, "The Sandlot" to UNCW NCAA baseball's expansion. Despite this, we have come together as a family to play baseball for the love of the game.
