Hey everyone,

Hector and Vanessa here, and we are raising money for someone incredibly special — my uncle — who’s currently gearing up for the fight of his life (and unfortunately, it’s not his first round).

He’s already been through a lot — he’s beat prostate cancer before, had a kidney transplant (shoutout to his amazing wife who was a perfect match ), and recently underwent two surgeries on his kidney. Now, he’s starting chemo for a new type of cancer, and as strong as he is, this round is going to be tough.

My uncle is the kind of guy who never complains, always shows up for others, and works hard to take care of his family — even when his own health is on the line. But with chemo starting, there are going to be days when work just isn’t an option. That’s where we’re hoping this GoFundMe can step in.

We’re asking for a little help to get through the hard days — to cover medical expenses, treatment-related costs, and just to keep things running while he focuses on healing (and maybe catching up on some well-earned naps).
