Hello everyone. A group of us is fundraising to help Sam cover the cost while he stays in Edmonton for 4-6 months after his open heart surgery. He's had a rough couple of years and after everything he has done for us all, here's our chance to give back to him. While recovering in the city, he will have to rent a place to stay and be assessed at the U of A almost daily. Being that he will not be able to drive for some time, he will need a taxi for transportation to and from the hospital, getting groceries and medications. The donations received will help cover some of these costs and other medical costs that are not covered by health care. At this time, he needs us more than ever. Let's pull together as a community/friend and show our Uncle Sam howmuch he means to us. I know for Cory, Dominic and I, he has become part of our family and we are not the only ones that feel this way. We appreciate all your help and donations. We can't all be there for his life-altering surgery, but we can show our care for him by helping with his costly expenses. I also encourage you to drop off a card for Sam at the Esquire Hotel and they will be given at the same time as we present him with the funds.
