Uncle Jerry's Road To Recovery Fund
Over the weekend after Uncle Jerry finished lunch out on the road with friends as he often does throughout his travels, him and Kitty pulled out and set off to their next adventure.
Not long into the trip he noticed something was wrong with his truck and as he pulled over to the side of the road the truck quickly caught fire. Within minutes the entire truck was in flames as he raced to save Kitty and some of his belongings.
Fortunately, he was able to save himself and Kitty - but she was badly burned from the fire, he hurt himself jumping from the cabin, and he lost nearly all of his personal belongings within just a few quick minutes.
We are asking for your support to help him get back on his feet and help cover the cost of he and Kitty's medical bills.
The truck was his home, and nothing inside of it can be recovered. Just like your home, there are priceless items that cannot be replaced and his most cherished possessions are the pictures and mementos he keeps of his family, friends, and his many adventures over the years.
In addition to any financial support you can offer, we ask that you please send him a digital message to his phone or Facebook with your favorite pictures and memories you have shared. If you have other non-digital pictures you would like to donate, please reach out to me at [email redacted] and I will give you an address to mail them to so we can begin to rebuild his scrapbooks.
We all know its not much a party without Uncle Jerry there - So if you have ever been to one of his tailgates, attended a shrimp boil, been to a bar as he charmed the waitress, attended a bachelor (or bachelorette) party with him, went on a fishing trip, received a care package at college, been asked to kneed his stomach, have been worked over, received a random gift off the back of the truck, had your mattress flipped, played beach blanket bingo, listened to one of his stories that seems to get better each time, or just met him yesterday......
Please lend a helping hand today.
Thank you,
Love the family and friends of Uncle Jerry.
