Beating Cancer with Uncle Fe
Donation protected
Those who are lucky to know Uncle Felix Wada, understand the happiness that he brings to people's lives. He is a loving and supportive husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His warm personality, genuine love for others, and positive attitude are just some of the many attributes that he exudes.
On November 8th, 2023, Uncle Fe was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer that spread through his bloodstream, liver, and pelvic region. Without treatment, the oncologist gave him a prognosis of 6 months. Choosing to undergo aggressive chemotherapy, we hope this helps extend his life to give him more time with his family and friends. Although this life-altering diagnosis has been difficult for the entire Wada Family: Felix, his wife June, his 2 children Jackie (31) and Jason (28), and fur-baby Kodi, they have remained committed to his recovery. Uncle Fe finished his first round of chemo on December 12, 2023 and begins his 2nd of 8 total cycles on January 3, 2024. This aggressive chemo has unfortunately altered his daily schedule as a business owner, as he is encouraged to rest for the next couple of months.
As a close family friend and with the strong community behind him, our goal is to help alleviate some of the financial strain for the Wada family in order for them to focus on Uncle Fe's healing. His battle with cancer may be just beginning and each day may bring a different challenge, but the love and support he has received from those around him truly keeps him going.
Thank you for all of your ongoing prayers and love. We are forever grateful.
