Craig DeBoer

My Uncle Craig was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. (Stage 3) Cancer. Craig is a warm, witty, hard-working, loving and creative son, 
brother, father, grandfather and loving husband. He’s the most genuine person you’ll ever know. He is well-respected in his community with many friends both professionally and personally. He strives to make his home and his farm something to be proud of. He takes great pride in his corn crops. When he’s not farming, he’s got his guitar in hand, with my Aunt Laura by his side on bass. They’ve played many bluegrass festivals, family functions, customer appreciation dinners, etc. . He served on the Board of the Fall River Water Users for several years and he also served as a Volunteer on the Oral Fire Department. He will go for 6 rounds of chemo that will hopefully shrink the tumor, but if not, then they will try radiation. The goal is to get the tumor small enough for surgery, what’s known as the Whipple procedure. He was opposed to us setting up a Go Fund Me page and we finally talked him into it. All money raised will go towards medical bills, and anything extra we will be donated to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project. Craig, Laura and their family are deeply humbled by the out-pouring of love and prayers that they are seeing. He’s one heck of a guy and we are going to kick cancer’s butt!
