Uncensored. Unfiltered. Unforgettable: Fund Our ND Comedy
Donation protected
Hey theater lovers! Ever felt like you didn't quite fit in? "The Injustice of Virginity" is a hilarious and heartfelt solo show that tackles just that—the awkwardness of not quite getting social cues. Justice shares the experience of navigating sexuality as a neurodivergent person, and the pressure to conform. If you've ever felt like an outsider this story is for you!
This isn't your typical sex comedy; it's a journey of self-discovery. It's both funny and heartbreaking. By supporting our GoFundMe, you're not just funding a show; you're supporting a production that promotes inclusivity! We'll spark important conversations, and empower our audience to embrace their authentic selves! Plus, every dollar raised creates more accessibility. It helps us bring this story to more people!
We're asking for $4500 for the production. The proceeds raised will go to fund the costs of putting on a performance at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. The monies will be utilized to assist in covering rentals, salaries of theater personnel, insurance, advertisement, translators, etc. Raising the full amount will allow us to make the performance accessible and hire an ASL translator for one performance for the deaf and hard of hearing in our community, as well give us the capacity to stream one performance for those who may have mobility or access issues.
We've already cast the show! We've put the deposit down on the theater. Now, we need your help!
Here's the breakdown:
$2300 helps us pay for the theater and rehearsal space
$3000 helps us pay for insurance and misc expenses
$3800 helps us pay the fees of the stage manager and TD
$4000 helps us buy wardrobe and props
$4250 helps us hire an ASL translator
$4500 helps us stream and photograph the performance
