Unbind Child Survivors of Human Trafficking. Offer hope!

Hi, my name is Pam and I'm fundraising for Safe Place:Supporting Survivors of Human Trafficking. I lived and worked in Romania for eight years with a humanitarian organization assisting children from the orphanages who were living on the streets.

I spoke with our partner today in Romania, Iana Matei and what she told me compelled me to post this Go Fund Me.

I am raising funds to assist a thirteen year old traffic victim and her newborn baby. Her trafficker wanted her to have the baby for unsavory purposes. She came to the shelter holding her stomach and moaning and had to be rushed to the emergency hospital for a C-section.

Many youth and children in Romania have fallen victim to traffickers offering better living situations. My heart has never recovered and I want to help. By partnering with the only organization in Romania licensed specifically to provide care for these children, I want to see these children gain hope and a future through safe housing, education, healthcare, psychological support, and job training.

I possess the belief that in God's eyes, these children, who may be far away, are just as important as the ones sitting next to me in my living room. I want to do all I can to help.
