Any of y’all who know me, know how much I love my dogs. Una is no exception.

Protective, loyal, and especially watchful over my two young children.

A week ago Una came down with the canine flu. She was on deaths doorstep, very very rapidly.

I rushed her to the animal hospital.

While initially all seemed well at first after a 12 hour stint at the pet emergency room with fluids and medications.

Fast forward to the weekend and Una began crashing hard. She stopped eating, her temperature spiked rapidly, and she wouldn’t even leave her crate.

Again I rushed her to the emergency vet, and they have now had her there several days and we anticipate at least one more evening there. She was diagnosed with pneumonia and bacterial infections secondary to the canine flu.

While she seems to be doing better, the bills have piled up VERY rapidly.

I don’t spare expenses when it comes to the health and well being of my loved ones, and that includes Una.

I’ve never done a fundraiser like this before and I feel weird even asking. But y’all…I could use a little help.

And yall, please get your dogs vaccinated against canine flu. I didn’t even know a vaccine existed until she already had it but it could’ve helped massively. Take this disease seriously please.
