Celebrating 10 Years of Being Unapologetically Asian — Support House of Chow Today!
We're celebrating a decade of artistry, activism, and unapologetic cultural pride! Since 2015, House of Chow has been a home where Asian heritage and Hip-Hop Dance come together to educate, empower, and uplift our communities.
Now, as we kick off our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration, we're calling on our community to help us raise $15,000 to fuel the future of our movement—and we're already over 60% of the way there!
Your donation directly supports:
Operations – Administrative, marketing, and tech essentials that keep us moving.
Rehearsal Honorariums – Supporting dancers, our stage manager, and artistic director.
Artistic Collaborator Honorariums – Supporting our photographers, videographers, makeup artists, and more who bring the work to life!
This isn't just a fundraiser—it's a commitment to keeping Asian stories visible, vibrant, and valued in the arts. Doh Jeh ("Thank you" in Cantonese) for helping us build a more inclusive, expressive, and equitable future in the arts.

Why We Move
Founded by Yvonne Huatin Chow | 周化炜 in 2015, House of Chow exists where Asian ancestral wisdom meets the cultural legacy of Hip-Hop Dance. We educate and unify Asians through performance, workshops, and community projects—always with deep respect for Hip-Hop as a Black and Latinx art form. Through our work, we help Asian artists explore their identities, honor their roots, and find their voice—all while acknowledging our role as guests within the Hip-Hop tradition.
