A finales del 2023 fue diagnosticada con cáncer de seno Triple Negativo (TNBC), uno de los más agresivos y difíciles de tratar.

Después de meses de quimioterapia, inmunoterapia, cirugía y radioterapia, Keishla logró estar en remisión por un tiempo. Sin embargo, recientemente el cáncer regresó con una metástasis en el pulmón, colocándola en etapa IV.

Al principio se consideraba la opción de cirugía, pero como el tumor creció, sus médicos determinaron que el próximo paso debe ser Trodelvy, un tratamiento altamente especializado que solo está disponible en Estados Unidos. Más adelante podría acceder a radioterapia de precisión (SBRT), inmunoterapias avanzadas o ensayos clínicos — tratamientos que podrían prolongar su vida de forma significativa e incluso darle la posibilidad de recuperación.

Esto implica una carga económica urgente: transporte, vivienda, alimentación y atención médica en Florida, todo fuera de Puerto Rico, que debe ser cubierto de manera inmediata.

At the end of 2023, she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), one of the most aggressive and difficult types to treat.

After months of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, and radiation, Keishla was in remission for a while. However, the cancer has recently returned with a metastasis in her lung, placing her in Stage IV.

At first, surgery was considered, but as the tumor grew, her doctors determined that the next step must be Trodelvy, a highly specialized treatment available only in the United States. Later on, she may also have access to precision radiotherapy (SBRT), advanced immunotherapies, or clinical trials — treatments that could significantly extend her life and even offer a chance at recovery.
