Hello I am Savannah and have been unable to work due to medical issues. I have been going to Shands in Gainesville trying to figure out what is wrong since December.

In October I was at a friends in Ohio and my left side gave out and had to go to the ER and was referred to orthopedic doctor. But since I live in Florida I waited until I could drive home. I was also having gastro issues as well. So far I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in hips and feet. I have had 2 more instances where my left leg has given out and am seeing a neuro muscular doctor on the 30th after a few more MRI’s due to the fact the ortho has stated in an X-ray that my femur bone is smaller on my left side as well as loss of strength on that side as well. Fibro doctor says that is not affiliated with fibro so we are still testing that issue. I have an 11 year old daughter who is going through some testing as well for migraines. I feel like less than a parent as I am unable to be active and have been home bound and bed bound 90% of the time until this gets figured out.  I am also getting injections in my SI joint soon as well so hoping that helps my mobility some.  I am 2 months behind on rent now and unable to provide as a mother and just need help. I am waiting for Social Security due to the conditions and the amount of time I am down. I have an MRI to check for osteonecrosis in my left hip and hopefully will get a diagnosis on why the muscle weakness in that side and it going out. I have always been active so this is killing me being bed ridden most of the time and unable to go to stores and mall with my child. I will continue with updates and hoping it is not neuro muscular and just something that can be fixed so I can get my life back on track and be an active mom for my daughter.
