I can stand for about a minute! Progress!!!!
Donation protected
So some of you know that I went back to the hospital. I was immediately sent to the ICU and it’s scary but they said if I had waited just a little longer to come in then I may have had to have my leg amputated. When I got to the ICU I was prepped for surgery where they implanted a sheath in my left calf. It was fitted with a catheter that slowly released Heperin and Alteplase which are both anticoagulants. I had to lay on my back for 54 hours which absolutely sucks! It was able to get rid of 60% of the clot but I still have some more to go. I am slowly regaining my ability to walk slowly but surely. It’s still really painful and I’m on a lot of blood thinners. My body is in rough shape but I’m making progress to regain my strength and I’m still needing assistance financially. I can’t stand in one place for more than a minute before my leg feels like it’s on fire. I am asking all my friends and family to share my Go Fund Me, So it reaches as many people as possible. I am so grateful for KU for saving my leg and the thought of possibly losing my leg scares the shit out of me. Keeping it one day at a time and continuing my PT so I can keep progressing! Love you all and I appreciate all the positive vibes that were sent my way! Again thank you all who have donated! This all happened right after I moved into a new place and was doing really well at a job that I loved! Unfortunately since I was new at the job they let me go since I was on a probationary period and the amount of time I would need to recovery just didn’t work for them. Everything happens for a reason and I’m holding onto that. I’m praying that everything works out the way God intends it to and I can heal and get back on track. Peace, love and high vibrations to all!!!! Also the funds that I will receive will be going to help me with my rent, future doctors appointments, mostly medications (I think it’s insane how they can put a massive price tag on a common but also a massive life saving medication). And food. We all know the cost of living has increased tremendously. I am working on getting as much assistance through the state of Kansas as possible. But all of this takes time. Every donation helps me out so much and I am extremely grateful for everyone and everything! Also since the am a bartender and do not have insurance, as of right now I have $52,000 in medical bills… so anything helps
