Una pequeña ayuda de los amigos para Luis

Hola, somos Diana y Adriana Alegrett, hijas de Luis Alberto -a quienes muchos conocen como un super Beatlemaniaco-. El requiere someterse a un intervención transuretral por cálculos en la vejiga, que se hará de forma laparoscópica.

El no se ha descuidado, ha estado pendiente de esto, ha sido chequeado por varios médicos y ha estado atento a su salud. Sin embargo, los cálculos se mantienen, poniendo en riesgo a su uretra y riñones; por lo que es necesario operar a la brevedad.

Si bien cuenta con seguro médico, la situación económica, temas de salud y funcionamiento de seguros en Venezuela; es bastante complicada. Su operación - y exámenes pre y post operatorios- no son cubiertos en su totalidad por la compañía aseguradora.

Con el fin de reducir los costos y considerando el tema de su seguro, será operado en la Clínica Especialistas Unidos (La Candelaria-Caracas-Venezuela) por el cirujano urólogo Javier Pérez (MPPS 115.336 y CMDC 34.428). Todo el tratamiento incluirá cistoscopia, resección transuretral y destrucción de los cálculos. Confiamos que con eso estará muy bien.

Como se sabe la situación económica en Venezuela no es sencilla; pero gracias a Dios con apoyo de ahorros propios y ayuda de amigos y familia, tendríamos cubierto una gran parte de la operación y exámenes pre/post operatorios. Sin embargo, no hemos logrado completar la totalidad del monto.

Nuestro papá es una persona activa, trabajadora y entusiasta, siempre pendiente de su familia y con muchos planes y proyectos; por lo que deseamos que su salud esté bien. Es por eso que -a sugerencia de amigos y familia- decidimos crear esta campaña de gofundme y solicitar el apoyo de aquellos que puedan ayudarnos.

Sabemos que con una pequeña ayuda de amigos, lograremos operar a nuestro papá en los próximos días.

With a little help from my friends - Luis Alberto

Hello everyone! We’re Diana and Adriana Alegrett, Luis Alberto’s daughters -known as a super Beatlemaniac-, he has been suffering from bladder stones and according to the doctors who have examined him, he requires a laparoscopic intervention, briefly.

He has not neglected himself, he has been aware of this, he has been checked by several doctors and has been taking care of his health. However, the stones remain, putting his urethra and kidneys at risk. According to what was indicated by the treating urologist in the attached report, the diagnosis is obstructive grade II PC and bladder stones. That is why the intervention to be performed is a surgical resolution of laparoscopic transurethral resection and cystolithotomy.

Although he has medical insurance, the economic situation, health issues and how the insurance companies are working in Venezuela; it’s quite complicated. His surgery (and pre and post-operative exams) are not fully covered by the insurance company.
