Hola, soy Renzo Giannone.

A los cuatro años, llegué a Venezuela desde Italia, junto a mis padres y mis dos hermanos y a los 14 ya alternaba mis estudios con el trabajo para ayudar a mi familia. Poco a poco, salí adelante hasta conquistar el título de piloto comercial.
Junto a mi querida esposa, Alicia, he formado una bella familia con dos hijos y dos maravillosos nietos, quienes son mi mayor alegría y felicidad. ¡Mi motivo de vivir!
Sin embargo, el destino y mi genética me han puesto un reto muy complicado de superar, pero que estoy decidido a ganar.
Todo comenzó con un insoportable dolor en mi pierna izquierda que me llevó a Emergencias y de inmediato me diagnosticaron un aneurisma de arteria poplítea trombosado.
El cuadro clínico fue confirmado, en consultas separadas, por los cirujanos cardiovasculares Giambattista La Forgia, de la Clínica Ávila, y Tomás Alberti, de la Clínica Angios.
Varios dedos de mi pie izquierdo están isquémicos y la pierna con ulceraciones debido a los micro infartos ocasionados por los trombos que se desprendieron del aneurisma.
En consecuencia, requiero de una intervención quirúrgica de urgencia para colocar un stent modulador de flujo de cardiatis, que permita aislar el aneurisma y así salvar mi vida.
Siempre he sido un hombre trabajador y muy activo, y quiero seguir siéndolo para continuar compartiendo con mi familia y disfrutar de mis nietos.
Esta situación me llena de dolor y angustia ya que económicamente no puedo financiar la operación. Cada día cuenta. Todo aporte es valioso. Los gastos de la operacion son aproximadamente $14000 y los post operatorios otros $5000 mas. Esa es la razon por la cual pedimos este monto.
Por esta razón, hoy les pido con la mayor humildad y fé, que me ayuden a superar esta inesperada enfermedad.
Estaré infinitamente agradecido con cada uno de ustedes.

At the age of four, I came to Venezuela from Italy with my parents and my two brothers. Together with my dear wife, Alicia, I have lived a precious life we have formed a beautiful family with two children and two wonderful grandchildren, who are my heart's greatest joy and happiness. My precious reason to live!
Unfortunately, my genetics have presented a very difficult challenge to overcome, but I am determined to win this battle. It all started with excruciating pain in my left leg that led me to the Emergency room, I was immediately diagnosed with a thrombosed popliteal artery aneurysm. This means that my lower legs are not receiving oxygen enough to keep the tissue alive. I look upon surgery to save my life. Several toes of my left foot are ischemic and my leg is ulcerated due to microinfarcts caused by thrombi that detached from the aneurysm.
I require emergency surgical intervention to place a cardiac flow modulating stent, which allows the aneurysm to be isolated and thus save my life.
I have always been a hard-working and very active man, and I want to continue being so. I want to continue sharing memories with my family and see my grandchildren grow.
This situation fills me with pain and anguish since financially I cannot finance the operation. Every day counts. Every contribution is valuable.
For this reason, today I ask you with the greatest humility and faith, to help me overcome this unexpected illness. The glory will be with the Lord at all times.
I will be infinitely grateful to each of you.
