Hola, queridos amigos. Mi nombre es Williams. Como millones de venezolanos, hace 15 años tuve que dejar mi amado país, llevando conmigo la esperanza de construir un mejor futuro para mi familia. Sin embargo, una parte de mi corazón quedó en mi natal Ciudad Guayana, donde aún viven mi mamá, mi hermana y mi sobrina Sofía. Como único hombre y cabeza de familia, he hecho todo lo posible por apoyarlas desde la distancia durante estos años.

Hoy, la vida nos presenta un desafío inesperado: a mi madre, Maritza, quien es la luz de mi vida y mi mayor inspiración, le diagnosticaron un meningioma, un tipo de tumor que se origina en las meninges (las capas que recubren el cerebro y la médula espinal).

Lamentablemente, el sistema de salud en Venezuela no cuenta con los recursos para atender adecuadamente esta situación, y mi familia no tiene los medios necesarios para cubrir los costos de la cirugía que mi madre necesita con urgencia.

Mi mamá aún tiene mucho por vivir. Ella es el motor de nuestra familia y el mayor apoyo de mi sobrina Sofía, quien vive con ella y la llena de fuerza para seguir adelante.

Por eso, acudo a ustedes con el corazón en la mano, pidiendo su apoyo para recaudar los fondos necesarios para su operación. Cualquier aporte, grande o pequeño, marcará una diferencia inmensa y nos ayudará a devolverle la salud a mi madre.

Hello, dear friends. My name is Williams. Like millions of Venezuelans, I had to leave my beloved country 15 years ago, carrying with me the hope of building a better future for my family. However, a part of my heart remained in my hometown of Ciudad Guayana, where my mom, my sister, and my niece Sofía still live. As the only man and head of the family, I’ve done everything I can to support them from afar over the years.

Today, life has presented us with an unexpected challenge: my mother, Maritza, who is the light of my life and my greatest inspiration, has been diagnosed with a meningioma, a type of tumor that grows in the meninges (the layers that cover the brain and spinal cord).

Unfortunately, the healthcare system in Venezuela is not equipped to handle this situation, and my family cannot afford the costs of the surgery my mom urgently needs.

My mom still has so much to live for. She is the heart of our family and the greatest support for my niece Sofía, who lives with her and inspires her every day to keep fighting.

This is why I am reaching out to you with an open heart, asking for your support to raise the funds needed for her surgery. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make an immense difference and help us restore my mom’s health.
