Siamo l’Associazione Speleologi Romani, un gruppo di appassionati e ricercatori che dal 1988 esplora, studia e racconta il mondo sotterraneo. La speleologia per noi è scienza, avventura e passione. Un modo per conoscere e proteggere l’ambiente nascosto sotto i nostri piedi, ma anche per condividere con tutti la bellezza delle grotte e delle montagne.

Ogni nostra attività unisce esplorazione, ricerca e divulgazione. Ci caliamo nelle cavità per mappare nuovi ambienti, raccogliere dati e rilievi che condividiamo con la comunità scientifica e speleologica. Organizziamo corsi e incontri per far conoscere la speleologia come forma di cultura ambientale.

We are the Associazione Speleologi Romani, a group of enthusiasts and researchers who, since 1988, have been exploring, studying, and sharing the underground world. For us, speleology is a mix of science, adventure, and passion: a way to understand and protect the environment hidden beneath our feet, but also to share with everyone the beauty of caves and mountains.

Each of our activities combines research, enjoyment, and outreach. We descend into cavities to explore and map new environments, collecting data and surveys that we share with the speleological and scientific community, and we organize meetings and courses to promote speleology as a form of environmental culture.
