Mi papá fue operado en el 2008 por una caída, en donde se fracturó la cabeza del femur. Realmente, nunca pudo caminar bien después de esa operación y ha estado utilizando una silla de ruedas para poder desplazarse la mayor parte del tiempo, porque la prótesis que le colocaron no es de la medida adecuada.

Durante todo este tiempo su condición ha ido empeorado, hasta tal punto que grita de dolor con cada movimiento que hace con su pierna.   Él puede tener una mejor calidad de vida e incluso volver a caminar si se vuelve a operar colocando la prótesis correcta.

Él vive en Venezuela, es médico pediatra y ha atendido a  4 generaciones de pacientes formalmente y, aún a sus 88 años sigue, desde su silla de rueda, ayudando al que puede.

Tenemos en el país una crisis humanitaria tan grande, que  el gobierno le quitó su pensión y su jubilación, un derecho que se había ganado trabajando por más de 40 años, con vocación y servicio en 3 hospitales del país.

La situación hospitalaria decadente por la que está pasando el país,  ha cerrado las puertas de muchos hospitales, reduciendo las opciones de operación a clínicas privadas únicamente,  ya que en los hospitales no hay cuidados intensivos que pudieran asistir alguna emergencia o inconveniente.

Por eso, solicito de tu ayuda para poder lograr esta meta de poder operar a mi papá y tener una mejor calidad de vida, ya sea con tu colaboración o compartiendo esta publicación con tus amigos.

Anexo el presupuesto de la clínica, aun no tenemos el presupuesto de la prótesis porque indican que solo se puede dar hasta enero,
pero podría costar entre 3.000 y 4000 dólares.

During all this time his condition has worsened, to the point that he screams in pain with every movement he makes with his leg. He can have a better quality of life and even walk again if it is operated again by placing the correct prosthesis.
