Last night, our dear friend Annie Maine was a victim of a robbery and attempted car-jacking. Three men in Halloween masks jumped in her car just as she entered the vehicle. These men physically removed her wallet from her back pocket and screamed at her to get out and give them the keys. As she was trying to flee the vehicle, they shot at her, hitting her once in the right hand. The bullet shattered her wrist. She is currently in surgery. The damage is extensive.

As many of you know, Annie is a fabulous chef and owner of her own catering business. Like many, her business has suffered greatly due to Covid . She was working construction as a second job when she was assaulted. She also recently lost her medical insurance.
