Hello, my name is Tracy Pombo, mother-n-law of Michael Silveira. As you may know he was in a severe motorcycle accident here in Hilmar on July 15th where he sustained major trauma injuries to his right lower leg and is unable to walk or use his right leg at this time. He is now home with weekly trips to the Bay Area for the doctors to assess his leg and the tissue and skin grafts that he had done with multiple surgeries and more to come. Unfortunately Michael was not at his job long enough to qualify for FMLA but his co-workers kindly donated their vacation time to keep his medical insurance going until Jan 1st after that they will have to endure the high cost of the cobra insurance in order for him to have medical insurance for him and his family along with the birth of their baby girl set to arrive at the end of January beginning of February and his medical care and surgeries. With him not being able to walk and care for himself D'Nelle is unable to work in order to be home with Michael to care for him and transport him to the multiple appointments. We love our small town of Hilmar and people are always willing to help those who need it and we are hoping that if anyone is able to help we would very much appreciate it.
